Coach Dick Advocaat of the Netherlands, asked if his team might have an edge over Ireland in the teams’ July 4 meeting in Orlando because Holland has played there twice, saw no edge at all.

“I don’t think there’s an advantage because the heat is terrible for the players,” he said. “Our advantage, maybe, is that Ireland is from Europe as well, and they will have the same advantage or disadvantage as we do.”
