Cerplex Group Inc.: In a move that will add as many as 500 employees to its payroll, computer repair company Cerplex Group Inc. said Thursday it would acquire the repair services business of British Telecommunications for an undisclosed price.

Under the tentative agreement, which is not binding, Cerplex Group would acquire British Telecommunications’ largest repair facility in the United Kingdom. Cerplex Group, of Anaheim, also expects to provide repair services to British Telecommunications for five years.

The deal is subject to the completion of additional financial investigation by Cerplex and other conditions, such as approval of both companies’ boards of directors and the signing of a final agreement.
