A-RPM Corp.: The aluminum foundry and machine shop has sold its assets to Altop Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Northridge-based Soligen Technologies Inc. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The purpose of the acquisition is to create a network of production centers for metal parts and tooling, said Yehoram Uziel, Soligen’s president and chief executive officer. A-RPM, in Santa Ana, has been specializing in automotive and marine cylinder heads and other aluminum automotive after-market parts since 1968.
