SAN CLEMENTE : Vacationers’ Health Woes Subject of Class
- Share via
Vacationers can learn how to deal with medical problems while traveling abroad this summer through a free workshop in San Clemente on Thursday.
Samaritan Medical Center physicians warn that becoming ill or having an accident while traveling is often serious and expensive.
At 7 p.m. at the hospital, at 654 Camino de los Mares, Dr. Michael Salem, medical director of the San Clemente Medi-Center, will offer tips on preparing for the unexpected while on vacation.
Salem will cover tropical diseases, immunizations, first aid and other precautions that can avoid complications if a health problem comes up during a vacation trip.
