Speaker Brown Merges Law Business With Firm Based in Century City

SACRAMENTO — A Century City-based law firm has added one of the state’s best-known lawyers to its roster: Assembly Speaker Willie Brown (D-San Francisco).
Terry Christensen of Christensen, White, Miller, Fink & Jacobs said Tuesday that Brown will help strengthen his firm’s growing corporate, entertainment and real estate client base.
In his announcement, Christensen pledged that the firm and Brown will avoid any conflict of interest triggered by the Speaker’s status as a public official.
Brown’s law office will be merged into Christensen, White’s new San Francisco office. Brown will operate out of the Bay Area office and the firm’s Los Angeles headquarters.
