Printronix Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of computer printers said profit for its latest fiscal quarter rose to $1.4 million, or 42 cents a share, from $531,000, or 17 cents a share, for the corresponding period in 1993. Sales for the company’s first quarter, which ended June 24, increased 38% to $33.5 million from $24.2 million.
