Lifeguards: Reader Enjoys Article About Training Academy

I have occasionally been stirred by well-written articles in The Times. Now that I’ve retired I feel no hindrance of work to keep me from telling you I really enjoyed the article on lifeguard training (“Rescue Me,” June 16.)

The article was very entertaining and informative, with just the right amount of sensitivity and done with good humor.

I look forward to seeing more of the section’s articles.
