A summary of selected City Hall actions in the past week affecting Central Los Angeles.

CITY COUNCIL

* RESTAURANT RELOCATION: Approved a request by the Community Redevelopment Agency for $529,000 to relocate Rusty’s Hacienda Restaurant from 1331 S. Boyd Street in Boyle Heights to 1716 N. Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood to make room for Rio Vista Village, a 75-unit housing development. Under California law, the CRA is required to provide relocation assistance to businesses displaced by its projects.

* HOUSING DEVELOPMENT: Authorized the CRA to provide a $4.9-million loan to Villa Del Pueblo Limited Partnership for the construction of an 81-unit low income housing development at 1441 S. Hope Street. The six-story building is scheduled to be completed by September, 1995.

* REWARD OFFER: Approved offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two people who forced their way into a residence at 800 S. Norton Avenue in the Wilshire area on May 29 and raped and robbed the five women living there. Friends of the victims have said they plan to match the council’s reward.

* BLOCK PARTY: Approved the closure of Cherrywood Avenue between Rodeo Road and Coliseum Street on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the Cherrywood Avenue block party.

* POLICE DONATION: Accepted the donation to the Los Angeles Police Department of 15 IBM personal computers, 22 mobile video systems, 20,000 videotapes and 2,000 nine-volt batteries from DARE America.

* WALK OF FAME: Approved adding the following names to Hollywood Boulevard’s Walk of Fame: the singing group The Supremes, actor James Coburn, actor Ben Johnson and Sesame Street’s Big Bird.

HOW THEY VOTED

How South-Central and Eastside City Council representatives voted on selected issues. * GOLFING FEES: Approved raising of the green fees at city golf courses to $16 from $15 during the week and from to $19.50 from $18.50 on weekends. The $1 increase overrides the Board of Recreation and Parks action to raise the fees $1.50 for most golfers while lowering the fees for seniors and youths under 17 years of age by 50 cents. A decision by the council regarding the fees for seniors and youths was delayed until this week. In comparison, the current fees at county golf courses are $17 during the week and $21 on weekends.
