WEST ADAMS : $700,000 in Loans OKd for Merchants
The Community Redevelopment Agency has approved a $700,000 loan program to help property owners and merchants in the West Adams area who suffered damage during the 1992 riots.
The program will provide low-interest construction or other loans to help local businesses retain and expand jobs, and encourage the economic recovery of commerical and industrial areas. The project area is roughly bounded by Adams Boulevard on the north, Jefferson Boulevard on the south, Western Avenue on the west and Normandie Avenue on the east.
