Head of Aging Council Tells Retirement Plans

Daniel Thursz, president of The National Council on Aging since 1988, will retire after the council’s conference in Dallas in January, 1995.

Thursz, 65, will receive voting membership on the organization’s board, effective upon his retirement. A search committee has been appointed to seek a replacement to head the national nonprofit organization, which represents different interests of older persons.
