This time, only lawyers can save Superman.

The latest Superman saga is in a lawsuit filed in federal court by DC Comics. It claims that a competitor wrongly copied Superman images. DC Comics is accusing Warrior Publications Inc. of Lombard, Ill., of using likenesses of the Man of Steel on trading cards inserted in the May issue of Hero Illustrated magazine.

The lawsuit seeks $100,000 in damages for each time Warrior used a Superman image.
