Interlink to Produce ‘Mouse’ Devices for IBM

Share

Interlink Electronics, a Camarillo-based producer of computer pointing systems, said it has signed a contract with IBM to produce hand-held “mice” that will be incorporated into two new lines of IBM’s portable computers, the 360 and 755 series ThinkPad Traveling Multimedia models.

The company declined to give the dollar value of the agreement, which is for the life of the products.

Interlink’s mouse, called ProPoint, is a hand-held device that allows the user to control the cursor on a computer screen even when standing a distance away.
