Interlink Electronics Reports Quarterly Loss

Interlink Electronics , a Camarillo-based producer of cursor control devices for computers, reported a net loss of $359,000 for the second quarter ended June 30, compared to a net loss of $945,000 for the same period a year ago.

Revenue for the recent quarter increased 56% to $1.9 million from $1.21 million for the same three-month period of 1993.

For the six months ended June 30, the company reported a net loss of $953,000 on revenue of $3.25 million, compared to a $1.89 million loss on revenue of $2.28 million for the same period a year ago.

E. Michael Thoben, chief executive of Interlink, attributed part of the revenue growth to shipments of a newly introduced remote pointing device for bundling with IBM notebook computers.
