McDonnell Douglas announced that Martinair Holland has purchased an MD-11 freighter. The airline also added options for the purchase of two additional MD-11 freighters. . . . Minneapolis-based Pillsbury Co. announced plans to buy Martha White, a Nashville, Tenn., baking mix business from Windmill Holdings group for $165 million. The purchase will make Pillsbury No. 2 in the U.S. dessert and baking mix business. . . . American Airlines announced plans to stop flying to Paris from Raleigh-Durham, N.C., in September, striking another blow to the carrier’s money-losing East Coast hub.
