Saturn Reins In Price Hikes: In an aggressive move to re-establish its value image, the General Motors Corp. unit said it is raising 1995 sticker prices by an average of only 1.5%, or $170 a car, which is below the hikes announced by GM’s other North American vehicle units and Ford Motor Co. Saturn’s increases include the cost of a standard passenger air bag and other new items. Saturn kept the prices of its base SL sedan and SW1 wagon unchanged at $9,995 and $11,695, respectively. Saturn’s biggest base price increase was $200, or 1.9%, on the SL1 sedan, to $10,995.
