BFGoodrich President Steps Down: President and Chief Operating Officer John Lauer has resigned to pursue other business interests, the company said. Chairman John Ong said in a statement that since the divestiture of the Geon Vinyl Division last year, the presidents of the Aerospace and Specialty Chemicals divisions are responsible for essentially all the businesses that make up BFGoodrich. “This new arrangement of our senior management reflects the realities of the company today,” he said. Ong said Lauer, 55, made significant contributions to the company, which said it has no plans to replace Lauer.
