Rocketdyne Awarded $16.8-Million Contract

Rocketdyne, a Canoga Park-based division of Rockwell International Corp., has been awarded a $16.8-million contract by the U.S. Air Force for the study and development of new engine technologies, the company announced.
Rocketdyne will be studying turbo pump technologies for rocket engines, said Paul Sewell, a spokesman with the company. The study is expected to be completed within six years.
