Micronet Technology Inc.: The firm said Tuesday it has bought the Macintosh product line of Storage Dimensions Inc.

Officials at neither privately held company would say how much Micronet paid for the line, known as MacinStor. Gene Bowles, executive vice president of Milpitas-based Storage Dimensions, said that at its peak last year, the line was generating “in excess of $1 million” a month in sales. Revenue has “come down a bit since then,” he said.

Micronet, based in Irvine, said it will honor previous warranties on MacinStor products and that, during the transition period, customers will be able to call either Storage Dimensions or Micronet for customer service and technical support.
