Quantum Health Resources Inc.: The Orange provider of therapies and support services for chronic disorders posted a 29% gain in profit for the second quarter. Earnings came to $5.4 million, or 33 cents a share, up from $4.2 million, or 27 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue increased 42% to $69.2 million from $48.8 million. Year-to-date profit totaled $10.2 million, or 62 cents a share, 38% higher than the company’s earnings of $7.4 million, or 48 cents a share, for the first half of 1993.
