California Commercial Bankshares: The parent company of National Bank of Southern California in Newport Beach reported a second-quarter profit of $13,000, or 1 cent a share, contrasted with a net loss of $846,000, or 33 cents a share, for the 1993 second quarter. Year-to-date profit was $214,000, or 9 cents a share, contrasted with a year-earlier loss of $744,000, or 30 cents a share. Total assets as of June 30 were down 9%, to $334 million from $367.3 million a year ago.
