Commercial Realty Won’t Meet FCC Deadline: The biggest single winner in last month’s auction of licenses for interactive TV service said it will not submit bid deposits and will file an appeal with the Federal Communications Commission. Commercial Realty of St. Pete Inc. said in a statement that product delays by the inventor of the technology could prevent it from launching the service within the government-mandated time frame. The FCC had warned license winners that if they did not meet Monday’s deadline for down payments they would be slapped with penalties.
