MISSION VIEJO : Ensemble Conductor Seeks New Musicians

Jennifer McBride has been selected to conduct the symphonic wind ensemble and pep band at Saddleback College.
McBride of Laguna Beach replaces Monte C. La Bonte, a longtime faculty member who died last spring.
McBride is seeking new members for both musical groups.
The symphonic wind ensemble is made up local residents and high school and college students. Rehearsals are held from 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays for six concerts over its nine-month season.
The pep band plays at Saddleback College football and basketball games and rallies. For more information, call (714) 582-4747.
