ICN Pharmaceuticals Reports $6.8-Million Loss

ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc. reported a loss of $6.8 million, or 33 cents a share, in the second quarter of fiscal 1994, up from a loss of $3 million, or 15 cents a share, for the corresponding prior-year period. For the first six months ending June 30, the drug maker’s loss was $11.4 million, or 55 cents a share, compared to a loss of $1.9 million, or 10 cents a share, for the same time last year. Second-quarter sales were $15.6 million compared to $15.7 million during the same quarter in 1993. Sales for the first six months were $32.8 million compared to $32.3 million.
