Re “Brazil Bemoans Its Homeless Children,” Aug. 3: Thank goodness for people like Yvonne Bezerra de Mello!! She is to be congratulated and appreciated, not ridiculed or frightened. To think, if everyone in Brazil--especially the aristocrats--gave a little time or money we could solve this problem. It’s time to stop depending on servants and scapegoats and begin to create a lasting solution!
