Share

Registration begins Saturday in Glendale for Love Ride 11, the annual motorcycle caravan, as Harley lovers raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Assn.

About 500 motorcyclists, plus celebrities and charity officials, are expected at a press conference at 11 a.m. Saturday to kick off sign-ups for the event, at Harley-Davidson of Glendale, 3717 San Fernando Road. More than 16,000 riders are expected to take part in the Love Ride on Nov. 13 from Glendale to Castaic Lake. “We started out 11 years ago with 600 riders and raising $42,000,” said Gary Provenzano, an organizer of the event. “This year we hope to raise $1.5 million.”

Beginning Saturday, participants can pick up pledge forms, which can be turned in the day of the ride.
