Perceptronics Inc., a Woodland Hills developer of computer simulation programs, said its profit for the fiscal first quarter that ended June 30 was $39,407, compared to a loss of $480,849 in the same quarter the previous year. Revenue for the first quarter was $1.83 million, down 4% from $1.90 million the year before.

The company attributed the results to reductions in staff and its recent move into cheaper facilities.
