World IN BRIEF : SOUTHEAST ASIA : Remains of 3 MIA Pilots Are Identified

Remains of three U.S. pilots killed in the Vietnam War have been identified, reducing the number of Americans still listed as missing to 2,229, the Defense Department said. The remains have been identified as those of Air Force Capt. Glenn Lee of Honolulu, shot down in 1970 in Cambodia; Air Force Maj. John Egger of Tulsa, Okla., downed over the Gulf of Tonkin in North Vietnam in 1967, and Navy Capt. Hubert Loheed of Middleboro, Mass., who went down in 1966 in North Vietnam.
