Connors Receives 16-Month Sentence

Ryan Connors, former star quarterback at Hart High, was sentenced Friday to 16 months in prison following a drunk-driving crash that disfigured a 33-year-old music student and ruined his singing voice.

Connors, 20, had pleaded no contest to one count of causing great bodily injury while driving under the influence of alcohol and has been given until Sept. 6 to surrender.
