World IN BRIEF : MOLDOVA : 33 Dead, Many More Missing in Flooding

The death toll from widespread flooding in Moldova rose to 33 with the discovery of three more bodies. Another 14 people were missing, and government officials in the former Soviet republic expected to find more corpses once the water level dropped. The flooding in central and southern Moldova followed torrential rains Friday night.
