Graphix Zone Posts Loss for Fiscal Year

The Graphix Zone, a multimedia and CD-ROM company, reported a loss of $576,393, or 47 cents a share, for its fiscal year ended June 30. That contrasted with a profit of $14,793, or 1 cent a share, for the 11-month period ended June 30, 1993. Revenue increased 24% to $2.1 million from $1.7 million.

The company posted a fourth-quarter loss of $406,452, or 28 cents a share, compared to a loss of $49,282, or 2 cents a share, for the like period last year. Three-month revenue was up 56% to $840,045 from $537,861.
