OUTLOOK

Jahid attempted only three passes last year and it’s unlikely the Eagles’ offense will take flight through the air. The strength of the team is in its offensive line and Candlish, Muro, Johnson and Herman. The offense should be able to advance the ball with Backy Gonzalez, who is a real talent; he averaged 4.4 yards per carry in six games after being summoned from the junior varsity. “He had a good summer and spring,” Liebengood said. “I think he’s a good back, a very competitive back.”
