Pollution Research Expects 3rd-Quarter Loss

Share

Pollution Research and Control Corp., a Glendale-based maker of pollution-measuring instruments, said that a drop in orders for its products will cause the company to report a loss for the third quarter that ends Sept. 30.

In a written statement, A.E. Gosselin Jr., chief executive of the company, said orders were down because of fierce pricing competition. The company did not report an estimate of the size of its expected loss.
