U.S. Executives Resign from Czech Truck Co.: A unique post-communist business experiment ended when Czech truck maker Tatra and its high-profile U.S. executive team parted company after a stormy 16 months. Tatra said the management consultants known as GSR Inc.--headed by former Chrysler Corp. debt-restructuring ace Gerald Greenwald--had agreed to resign now that Greenwald had become chairman at United Airlines’ parent company, UAL Corp. Greenwald’s management partners at Tatra--former International Harvester Co. executives David Shelby and Jack Rutherford--also agreed to resign as board members, the company said at a shareholders meeting.
