Collision of Bus and Truck in Russia Kills 9, Injures 7

MOSCOW —
A bus carrying mushroom pickers collided head-on with a truck on the Moscow-St. Petersburg highway, killing nine people and injuring seven, the Itar-Tass news agency reported Sunday.
The accident took place Saturday in the Valdai district, about 220 miles northwest of Moscow, the report said. The cause of the accident was under investigation.
