Caesars to Bid for Indiana Casino: Caesars World Inc. of Los Angeles said it will team with privately held Riverboat Development Inc. in a bid to develop a casino on the Ohio River in Harrison County, Ind. If the bid is successful, Caesars said, it will own 10% of the riverboat gambling hall and will manage the facility, while Riverboat Development will hold a 50% ownership stake, with the rest held by other investors. No other gaming companies have bid for the new project, Caesars said. The application deadline is still about two months away. Caesars, Circus Circus Enterprises and Hilton Hotels Corp. are already jointly bidding to develop a casino in northern Indiana, about 250 miles from the Harrison County site.
