Amplicon Inc.: The Santa Ana equipment leasing company reported a 12% gain in profit for its fiscal year ended June 30. Earnings rose to $11 million, or $1.89 a share, from $9.8 million, or $1.68 a share, for the previous 12 months. Revenue increased 11% to $181.4 million from $163.8 million. Profit for the fourth fiscal quarter totaled $3 million, or 51 cents a share, 20% higher than the company’s earnings of $2.5 million, or 43 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Three-month revenue declined 12% to $36.1 million from $41 million.
