Oscar-winning actor RICHARD DREYFUSS, who co-stars with John Lithgow in the upcoming mystery movie “Silent Fall,” has put his Hollywood Hills home of 10 years on the market at just under $2.9 million.

Dreyfuss, who just finished filming the drama “Mr. Holland’s Opus” with Jay Thomas and Olympia Dukakis, is in England, getting ready to make his directorial debut with the opening Sept. 29 of “Hamlet” at the Old Rep Theatre in Birmingham.

He listed his house because he is said to be ready for a change. He would prefer to lease out the house for a year or two, at $15,000 a month, but is prepared to sell it, sources say.

Dreyfuss, who is 46 and recently divorced, still holds the record as the youngest man ever to receive the Academy Award for Best Actor. He won it at age 29 for his performance in Neil Simon’s “The Goodbye Girl,” and also starred in such films as “Jaws,” “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” and “Down and Out in Beverly Hills.”

His mountaintop home, in Nichols Canyon, has sweeping views of the city from almost every room and balcony. Built in 1973, it was later enlarged and remodeled for Dreyfuss, his wife and their two children.

The Mediterranean-style residence, which is nearly 10,000 square feet in size, has a master suite with a fireplace; three additional bedroom suites, a two-story, walk-in closet; two-bedroom staff apartment, three laundries, seven fireplaces and a pool with a view.

There is a separate building with a library, guest suite and gym. The gated home, which also has a motor court and fountain surrounded by gardens, is listed with Jo Wilder of Jon Douglas Co., Beverly Hills.

“Wheel of Fortune” letter-turner VANNA WHITE, has sold her former home in the Hollywood Hills to her tenant, Germany-born aerospace industrialist Christoph Tribull, for about $1.5 million, sources say.

White and her husband, restaurateur George Santa Pietro, moved in 1991 when they bought a newly built, $3-million home nearby.

Tribull bought the house “because it has a stunning ocean view and a nice pool,” he said. The 5,300-square-foot house was built about 30 years ago, but was totally refurbished in the late 1980s, when White purchased it for $1.7 million.

Tribull has been in this country for about 10 years but travels back and forth on business to Germany, where he also has a home.

Former L.A. Kings player LUC ROBITAILLE, who was traded at the end of July to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and his wife, STACY, have sold their Hidden Hills home for $925,000, sources say.

The asking price was $985,000. The 14-day escrow closed last week.

Robitaille, 28, joined the Kings in 1986 and last year became the first left winger in the history of the National Hockey League to score 63 goals in a single season. He was one of the Kings’ most popular players.

He sold his one-story, ranch-style house on an acre with a lagoon, pool and horse facilities to Beverly Hills gynecologist Dr. Peter Weiss and his wife, Pam, sources say.

The house, which has an open floor plan and about 4,300 square feet, has a spa off of the master suite.

A Holmby Hills home owned during the 1960s by singer ANDY WILLIAMS, when he was married to actress Claudine Longet, has been sold for $4.7 million, sources say.

Sherman Mazur, a 1980s real estate whiz who pleaded guilty last December to tax and bankruptcy fraud after engineering what prosecutors alleged was one of the biggest tax fraud cases in years, owned the home until recently, sources say.

The house was sold through bankruptcy court. The most recent asking price was $5.7 million.

Built in 1928, the home has six bedrooms and a guest house with a kitchen in 11,500 square feet. Shirley Wells had the listing with John Aaroe & Associates of Beverly Hills.

The Bel-Air mansion that gangster LUCKY LUCIANO is said to have leased during the late 1930s and that actors Eddie Murphy and Richard Harris rented in more recent years is no longer for sale, its new owner says.

Beverly Hills stockbroker Joseph Arsenault, 35, bought the house in May for $3.7 million, then listed it for awhile at $4.95 million, documents show.
