Cerplex Group Inc.: Shares of the Anaheim company gained a bit Monday from Friday’s 21% drop caused by the company’s report that revenue was slowing down.

The company’s stock fell after it said that its repair contract with International Business Machines Corp. would result in lower-than-expected third-quarter net income of about $1 million, or 7 cents to 8 cents a share.

Cerplex, which provides repairs on IBM machines, said late Thursday that it expects its revenue shortfall from IBM will continue into the fourth quarter, which ends Dec. 31, but that it should be offset by increasing revenue from new programs.

On Friday, Cerplex stock fell $3 a share to close at $11.25 a share in heavy trading, making it the third-largest percentage loser on the Nasdaq system. On Monday, the stock rose 25 cents a share to close at $11.50 a share.

Cerplex provides electronic repair services and distributes electronic components. The company said IBM revenue fell about $7 million in the current quarter, although its overall revenue climbed to $32 million, up 68% from the year-ago period.
