Local Native American leaders, lead by a Loyola Marymount University official, are scheduled to meet with White House officials later this month to address policy and legislation.

Paul Ojibway, director of American Indian programs at Loyola Marymount, will lead the Los Angeles-area delegation of Native Americans, who will join a coalition of 200 others throughout the United States, at the American Indian Urban Policy Conference on Sept. 30 at the White House.

“We will discuss achievable policy and legislative recommendations that will involve the Clinton Administration, as well as initiating legislation with members of Congress,” Ojibway said.
