What Changes Are Called for at CSUN?

After having read the statement that “changes are in order” in your editorial “2 Issues Inflame Tensions at CSUN” (Sept. 25) regarding the low graduation rates and length of time to graduate for minorities at CSUN, I am wondering what changes you had in mind?

Are you suggesting that graduation be made easier for minorities? That grades be “subsidized” for minority students? Or is this a result of poor pre-university preparation, or even lack of proper study habits?
