Annual Storytelling Festival This Weekend

The city’s fourth annual Storytelling Festival will take place Friday and Saturday at the San Juan Capistrano Library Courtyard and Auditorium.

The festival, sponsored by the city, will include readings for people of all ages, plus workshops designed for teachers.

The festival will feature some of the nation’s best storytellers, including Diane Ferlatte of Oakland and Martha Holloway of La Jolla.

Newcomers to this year’s festival will include storytellers Donald Davis of Ocracoke Island, N.C., Olga Loya of San Jose and Johnny Moses of La Conner, Wash.
