QLogic Corp.: The Costa Mesa computer products company said profit for the second fiscal quarter doubled to $651,000, or 12 cents a share, from $317,000, or 6 cents a share, earned in last year’s second quarter. Revenue for the three-month period ended Oct. 2 increased 32% to $15.3 million from $11.6 million. Year-to-date net income climbed 77%, to $1.2 million from $679,000 reported for the first half last year. Revenue rose 20% to $29.6 million from $24.6 million.
