9 Killed by Torrential Downpour in Greece

ATHENS — A three-hour downpour here backed up sewers and caused severe flooding, killing nine people, authorities said.
Most of the victims of the heavy rain late Friday were trapped in basement apartments in the northern suburbs, police said.
