Whistle While You Watch: The videocassette version of Walt Disney’s 1937 classic, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” which finally goes on sale this week, is expected to dwarf other video sales to date. The Burbank entertainment giant has confirmed that it has already received a record 27 million orders from retailers. Some are predicting that “Snow White” could become the first video to break the 30-million mark in units sold, besting the 24 million units of “Aladdin” that Disney sold and the 22 million units of “Beauty and the Beast.” For Walt Disney Co., the video should fatten its pre-profits by more than $200 million.
