TRADE WAR?: American products aren’t supposed to go over well in Japan, but try telling that to Van Nuys’ United Hi-Tech Inc. The company has found a way to export everything from oil tank cleaning systems to customized Chevrolet vans (Valley Business, Page 4). . . . Their secret? “American products are so salable in Japan, if they just had a touch,” owner Tadabumi Takasu said. “What we provide is the Japanese touch.”
