Rockwell Profit Up 10% in 4th Quarter, 13% for Year: The conglomerate known for building B-1 bombers and space shuttles attributed the higher profit to strong sales of modems and automated assembly lines. During the July-September quarter, the Seal Beach firm posted net income of $165 million, or 75 cents a share, compared to $150 million, or 68 cents a share, a year earlier. Sales rose from $2.84 billion to $2.89 billion. For the 1994 fiscal year, Rockwell International Corp. reported net income of $634.1 million, or $2.87 a share, up 13% from a 1993 profit of $561.9 million, or $2.55 a share. Sales rose from $10.84 billion to $11.12 billion for the year.
