Gish Biomedical Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of medical products posted a 49% gain in profit for its latest quarter, to $396,800, or 13 cents a share, from $267,200, or 9 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the company’s first fiscal quarter, which ended Sept. 30, was up 6% to $5.3 million from $5.0 million.
