CORVALLIS, Ore. — Cameron Reynolds, Oregon State’s offensive star, credits the Beavers’ defense for his team’s 24-12 victory over Pacific.
“They played incredible,” Reynolds said.
The Tigers got within Oregon State’s 20-yard line six times but had to settle for one touchdown and two field goals.
Reynolds caught a 57-yard touchdown pass from Don Shanklin and scored again on a 74-yard run in the first half.
Oregon State (3-6) overcame three fumbles and 10 penalties for a loss of 80 yards to end a two-game losing streak.
The loss is the first in three games for the Tigers (5-4).
