Bicycles
That was a great juxtaposition of stories on Oct. 15. One was about an award given to Anton Burg, a 90-year-old professor who has never driven a car and has bicycled around Los Angeles for half a century. Its page-mate was an article about students at Pasadena City College unable to find parking for their cars. To the whining teensomethings and twenty-somethings: “Get a life, get a bike.”
