Countywide : Libraries Plan Talks About Stories, Books

The Orange County Public Library system will present a variety of special events this month at branches throughout the county.

The programs include group book discussions, Thanksgiving celebrations and storytelling presentations.

A class on holiday origami will take place at 3:30 p.m. today at Garden Grove Regional Library, 11200 Stanford Ave.

On Monday, storyteller Judith Helton will perform at 3:30 p.m. at the Mary Wilson branch, 707 Electric Ave., in Seal Beach.

On Nov. 16, author Barney Saltzberg will present stories and music at the La Habra library, 221 E. La Habra Blvd. The event begins at 7 p.m.

A multicultural program will be presented on Nov. 19 at the San Juan Capistrano Regional Library, 31496 El Camino Real. The program runs at 7 and 9 p.m.

On Nov. 21, the Los Alamitos/Rossmoor branch will offer a “Turkey Trot” at 3 p.m. The library is at 12700 Montecito Drive.
